Most founders hit the same wall at the same time.
They need technical leadership and they need an AI strategy, but they’re not the same problem, so they get treated separately. Two hires. Two conversations. Two people pulling in different directions.
They are the same problem. Ridgeline is an AI-first CTO engagement that holds both together.
What Ridgeline does and for whom
Ridgeline works with founders at seed to Series A who don’t have a CTO yet. The engagement covers technical leadership, AI strategy and implementation, and platform foundations. Not as three separate services. As one person holding all three conversations, because the decisions in each area directly affect the others.
The person driving AI adoption should be the same person responsible for the health of the codebase. Otherwise the tradeoffs that should be made carefully don’t get made at all. The AI person optimises for adoption, the CTO protects reliability, they pull in different directions, and the founder is left refereeing a fight they don’t have the context to resolve.
Ridgeline exists because that fight shouldn’t happen in the first place.
